Poinsettia Tilda..

Hello my dear followers!

This card may come as a surprise to you as I'm usually not this early with my Christmas makes, but I'm guest designing on a challenge blog today and we were supposed to use our birthstone colour on our project..
I googled what mine was and it turns out it's Garnet..
Red.. Oh my..
Not my colour really..
But then I thought..
I love using red on my Christmas makes and I have that gorgeous Tilda waiting in the drawer..
And that's how I came up with this card..

Of course I had to have a play with some Maja Design papers..
I chose the I Wish Collection..
The card's base is made with a GoKreate die - the biggest one of the Large Frames Frilly #5..
The smaller frame frame under the snowflake is a Magnolia Doohickey from the Vintage Square set..

Here is my beloved Poinsettia Tilda from the Aspen Holidays Collection 2016..
I paired her with a sentiment from that same collection..
The name of that set is Dreaming of Ornament Kit..

The image is stamped with Archival Ink and I coloured her with Distress Inks..
I combine both, ink pads and reinkers..

I also used my sewing machine as you can see..
I always feel a project isn't really finished if I don't add a stitch or two..

Here are some close-ups..
I've used quite a few doilies, some cheesecloth, even some corrugated cardboard that I covered with Gesso to tone it down a bit..
There's a Bark Heart with a little WOC rose on top..
A gorgeous and very sparkly button, some lace..
And let's not forget the Snowflurry Background Doohickey..
I used it on the front and on the inside..
The top one consists of three layers.. It was a nasty job, I tell you, but I really wanted it to be sturdy so it won't break that easily..
The inside circles are made with Spellbinders dies..
One Standard Circle Large and a Petite Scalloped Circle Large..
The one on the back is from the Triple Tear set..
Just gorgeous..
There are lots of half-pearls on the front and back as well..

The dots around her are white Frantage embossing powder..
The layer behind the stamped image is made out of Bazzill Classic 12x12 Kraft..
My absolute favourite when it comes to kraft paper..
The snowflakes are cut out of Bazzill Cardstock as well.. That's the Bazzill Mono Canvas 12x12 in white..
Also a favourite of mine..

Well that's all.. For now..
I really hope you enjoyed your stay, got inspired and learned something new!
xoxo

Hi guys!

If not.. You should really check out the list at the end of this post cos' I'm sure you don't want to miss the chance to win a fantastic prize from Magnolia.. Am I right?

And here's my creation for this hop..

I've used Twinkle Star Tilda from the Waiting For Christmas Collection 2014..
It was love at first sight..
But what can I say.. That's what happens to me every time a new collection comes out..
They are all soooo incredibly gorgeous!!!

These amazing papers are from Magnolia too..
My favourites when it comes to Christmas projects..
The ever present doily is there and so are all those gorgeous WOC and Kort & Godt flowers..

I made the corners with a mold I got on Ebay and some Fimo..
There's some cheesecloth under those flowers and I've added a snowflake charm too..
I really like adding some brown corrugated cardboard when I'm working with reds..
And a tag is almost a must..

Here are some more flowers, a pine cone, some decorative berries and a gorgeous pin..
I've added some Twinklets Diamond Dust here and there.. Love the effect..

Yes.. This is still my favourite lace..
And another thing I love is this sweet little angel.. Made out of Fimo like the corners above..
There are lots and lots of pearls all over this card and some Gesso here and there too..
All the paper edges are distressed and machine sewn..

The image is stamped with Archival Ink on 300g Langton aquarel paper and coloured with Distress Inks..
The postmarks are from Kort & Godt..
The tiny dots around the image are made with Liquid Pearls and I've added some Stickles on all the stars..

That's it!

Show The Way Tilda and Baby Rudolf

Hello there!
I love this time of the year and this card was inspired by this Christmas song:
Bing Crosby - White Christmas..
My card is pink but there's a lot of  'snow' on it..

I had to use my brand new Maja Design Vintage Frost Basics papers cos' they are just amazing..
The image is coloured with Distress Inks and reinkers and the shade around it is made with those too..
I really love the effect of Frantage on a coloured base and I just had to use the Liquid Applique again..
It looks like real snow..

I've used my new Spellbinders Marvelous Squares to cut out the image..
The two tags on the left are made with a Magnolia Doohickey die called Tilda Tag..
There's some Vintage Seam Binding on them and I've used Chunky White Frantage on one and Shabby White Frantage on the other..

I just love all these gorgeous WOC and Kort & Godt flowers.. They are simply fantastic..
And the heart doily is so sweet, isn't it?

Here are some more flowers, Magnolia berries and the super cute pine cone..
I've added some pearls and all the paper edges are distressed with a Tim Holtz tool and then inked with Walnut Stain Distress Ink..
All the edges are also machine sewn..

I've added two different laces.. One's got some rhinestones on.. That looks really great..
Love them both!!
And there's some Frantage on the papers and some Gesso and Crackle Paint too..

The image is stamped with Archival Ink on 300g Langton aquarel paper..
These two are called Show The Way Tilda and Show The Way Baby Rudolf and they are from the Winter Wonderland Collection 2013..
I've used the following Distress Inks to colour the images:
Weathered Wood
Vintage Photo
Tattered Rose
Antique Linen
Walnut Stain
Victorian Velvet
Pumice Stone
Black Soot

That's it folks..
I really hope you enjoyed and I'd love to hear what you think of it..

Jingle Bell Rudolf

Hi everyone,
Here I am with a White Shabby Christmas creation..

I love white on white but I find it quite challenging..
I've also decided to play with lots of layers and different textures..

I've used a gorgeous sheet of Magnolia paper this time..
The card's shape was made using a GoKreate die..
The Snowflake border is a Tim Holtz die.. I'm sure you recognize it..
The doily is from my stash..

Here's a close up of the gorgeous Magnolia Vintage Angel and the ton of sprays and flowers around him..
There are the Poppies, Carnations, Chrysantemums, Open Roses, Hip Rosebuds, Cherry Blossoms..
There's some gorgeous lace there and the Pearl Lace With Beads but they are almost completely covered with all the other embellies..
The Swirl is a Magnoila Doohickey and so is the Snowflake.. I'm not sure you can see it.. It's hidden under all those flowers..

And yes.. Here are some more flowers..
The Lilies, Wild Roses, Cosmos Daisies and even some Frosted Berries..
These Vintage Wood Bird Cages are just amazing..
I've covered this one with Gesso and Crackle Paint and I've added a little bow and two cute Bells on it..
There's another Snowflake under this bunch of flowers and the Angel Wing Magnolia die..
All the die-cuts are covered with Shabby White Frantage..
The pearls are a must and so are the distressing and stitching on all the paper edges..

Well.. Can you see the lace now? I love it!
An the Pearl String around the image??
The image was cut out with a Spellbinders Oval and the frame under it is a die from Marianne Design..
There's some Corrugated Cardboard under there and it's covered with Crackle Paint..
There's some cheesecloth here and there and some Gesso and Crackle Paint too..
I've used the Frantage around the image too but I've also added some Liquid Applique..
The bells are covered with Stickles..

This is Jingle Bell Rudolf from the Winter Wonderland Collection 2013..
The Christmas Background stamp is from the So Jolly & Under The Mistletoe Collection 2009..
They are both stamped with Archival Ink on 300g Langton aquarel paper and then coloured with Distress Inks and reinkers..
I've used just a few colours for this one:
Weathered Wood
Pumice Stone
Tattered Rose
Antique Linen
Walnut Stain
Aged Mahogany
Scattered Straw
Wild Honey

That's it folks..
I just want to remind you that there's still time to enter my CANDY! What are you waiting for??

Thanks for stopping by!

Christmas Tilda With Cat

Hi guys!

First.. If you haven't entered my growing Candy yet you should do it..
The link is in the sidebar..
The more people join, the bigger the candy gets..

And now onto a new project..
Another Christmas card..

Remember this gorgeous cutie from last year??
This is Christmas Tilda With Cat from the Little Christmas Collection 2012..
The Jingle Jangle Snowflake is from the A Christmas Story Collection 2012..
I'm more than sure that I'm gonna use this image every year.. :)

I've used one of my GoKreate dies for the card's shape..
The papers are from Maja Design..
The two tags were made with a Magnolia Doohickey called Tilda Tag..
The lace is from my stash..

You can see a doily onder there and there's some corrugated cardboard covered with Picket Fence Crackle Paint under the image..
All the paper edges are distressed using a Tim Holtz tool and then inked with some Walnut Stain Distress Ink..
All the edges are machine sewn too..
The big flower was made with the Magnolia Peonies Doohickey..
The edges are covered with Liquid Applique..
The brad is from Wild Orchid Crafts..

The berries and other flowers are from WOC too except for the Kort & Godt Chrysantemum..
I've applied some Crackle Paint on some parts of the card too..
The pearls are from Rayher..
After a long time I've decided not to use Frantage but Liquid Pearls around the image..

The pearl trimming and lace are from WOC.. I don't think they are available anymore..
That's a shame.. :(
Ooohhh.. And what about the two corners???
I love them!
They are both made out of FIMO Air with two fantastic moulds my father made for me..
I think these are super elegant, aren't they?

The image is stamped with Archival Ink on 300g Langton aquarel paper and coloured with Distress Inks and reinkers..
I'd really love to try the Distress Markers too but unfortunately my finances aren't helping me lately..
I'll just have to use what I have..
The colours I used:
Weathered Wood
Vintage Photo
Tattered Rose
Antique Linen
Walnut Stain
Pumice Stone
Black Soot

Did I forget anything??
Hope not..
If you still have some questions feel free to ask..
I'm always here to help..
PLEASE.. Let me know what you think of it.. ;)

The cheesecloth is from my stash..
The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and Kort & Godt..

I've used my Spellbinders Opulent Ovals to cut out this cutie..

Here are the colours I've used:
Vintage Photo
Tattered Rose
Antique Linen
Walnut Stain
Weathered Wood

Victorian Velvet
Peeled Paint

That's all for today..
But I'll be back soon..

A Joyful Christmas

Hi everyone!
Ready for a new card???
I'm a little bit tired of the green and red combination for Christmas cards so I went for a non-traditional pink and white colour combo this time..
I really like how it all turned out..

I've used once again some Maja Design papers from the Vintage Summer Basics Collection..
The sheets are 1909 and 1910 to be more specific..
The card's shape was made using a GoKreate die..
There a re lots of Magnolia stamps on this card..
There's the A Joyful Christmas Text and A Joyful Tilda from the Winter Wonderland Collection 2013
and the Postmark from the With Love Collection 2013..

I've also used some JoyCrafts dies..
The Winter Wishes Ice Crystals Border and the Snowflake Circle..
They are both covered with some Shabby White Frantage..
All the paper edges are distressed usind a Tim Holtz tool and then inked with some Walnut Stain Distress Ink..
I alway sew the borders with my sewing machine too..
The doily is there of course.. ;)

A lot going on on this side too..
You can see a bag and a tag hidden under all those flowers..
The lace is from my stash..
I've used Spellbinders Ovals and Opulent Ovals for the image..
There's some Frantage around Tilda too..
I've used lots of WOC pearls..
Did you notice the Vintage Metal Jingle Bells?? So tiny..

The flowers are from WOC and Kort & Godt..
There are so many different kinds.. I used a little bit of everything..
Some of the flowers are covered with Glossy Accents and Diamond Dust..
And have you seen all the berries, flower sprays and foam flower buds?
The metal corner is gorgeous, right?

I've used some Crispy Ribbon and the Rhinestiones lace..
The higlights are made with and Inkssentials White Opaque pen..
I've also added some Picket Fence Crackle Paint and some Gesso here and there..
This Christmas Stocking charm is so cute..

I really went crazy with the flowers and other embellies this time..
But they are all sooooooo gorgeous..
I couldn't stop adding them.. :)
There's some cheesecloth between and under them..

The image is coloured with Distress Inks and reinkers..
As usual I've used some Archival Ink and the 300g Langton aquarel paper..
This is the very first time I use the Liquid Applique..
Take a look at her hat..
Can you see the amazing effect?? I love it!!!
